Tour Overview

This 1-day trekking tour from Tashkent takes you deep into the Paltau Gorge, a stunning area of the Western Tian Shan, located approximately 2 hours’ drive from Tashkent. The route passes through a border zone (passport required) with registration at a military checkpoint.

Trekking Route Description

The trek starts at an altitude of 1000 meters, following a dirt road that leads toward the famous Paltau Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Tashkent. After paying the eco fee (20,000 UZS per person), the trail continues uphill.

A steep mountain path leads to a picturesque birch grove, after which the route passes through apple orchards and fruit gardens, offering a unique combination of natural and cultural landscapes. The return route follows a dirt road back to the starting point.
