This one-day excursion offers breathtaking mountain scenery and a unique chance to experience the traditions of both Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. During the trip, you will visit six of the legendary Seven Lakes, each known for its color, atmosphere, and mystique.
Tour Program
1. 09:00 — Departure from Samarkand
We begin our journey through the village of Jartepa, where your guide will share stories about local life and the cultural differences between Uzbeks and Tajiks.
2. 10:00 — Border Crossing
Border procedures take approximately 40 minutes. After crossing, we will explore a traditional Tajik market and experience the lively, authentic atmosphere of local trade.
3. 12:00 — National-Style Lunch
Enjoy a delicious meal of Central Asian cuisine before heading toward the mountain lakes.
4. 12:30–17:30 — Excursion to Six Lakes
You will visit the most accessible and scenic lakes of the Marguzor chain:

Nezhigon (1640 m) — turquoise waters framed by mountain “eyelashes.”

Soya (1740 m) — known as “the shadow,” with mesmerizing reflections.

Gushor (1770 m) — peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Nofin (1820 m) — remarkable ultramarine color.

Khurdak (1870 m) — small in size, enormous in charm.

Marguzor (2140 m) — the largest lake, famous for dramatic postcard-like views.
Note: The seventh lake, Hazorchashma (2332 m), is only accessible by jeep and is not included in the standard one-day program.
5. 17:30 — Dinner in Tajikistan
A warm dinner stop where you can relax, share impressions, and enjoy local dishes.
6. 18:00 — Return to Uzbekistan
After completing border formalities, we drive back toward Samarkand.
7. 20:00 — Arrival in Samarkand
You will be comfortably transferred to your hotel or another preferred location.
