What to expect:
• Our tour will begin with an Uzbek breakfast. We'll buy cream at a dairy shop, then head to a local home to enjoy freshly baked bread baked in a tandoor;

• The next stop on the route is the Paper Mill. You'll see paper production dating back to the 7th century;

• Afterwards, we'll head to the Shahi-Zinda necropolis, home to numerous mausoleums;

• We'll sample the king of Uzbek cuisine—pilaf—at the place where the residents of Samarkand prefer to dine. Next, we'll sample the famous Kakand samsa, khalisa (a dish made from wheat bran), and lamb;

• We'll see the first wonder of Uzbekistan—Registan Square;

• If you still have the energy and desire, we can also try shashlik or go for a wine tasting at Bagizagan Winery.
